When does organizational agility become more urgent?
Good examples of urgency for organizational agility would be:
- If you are a start-up and you are running out of funds.
- If you are an enterprise organization that has been disrupted after a market shock like a pandemic or a war or an innovative new competitor that has gained heaps of market share.
- If you are in a position where you don’t have a decade to evolve into a particular position and really need to jumpstart innovation and disrupt in your own industry segment.
Sometimes, urgency is needed but also, there needs to be a sense of urgency.
Even if it is urgent, unless you and your organization feel that sense of urgency, it is going to be difficult.
